TimberPine Landscaping is hiring for a Nursery/ Farm staff to work out of our Earlham location. TimberPine is a full service professional landscape company with a reputation for providing consistent, reliable and personalized landscape services throughout central Iowa.
Responsibilities and Duties
We’re looking for motivated people with a desire to produce high quality plants for all our projects and for our retail clients. We are seeking candidates to help grow and maintain a wide range of landscape plants including trees, shrubs and perennials; as well as help customers with retail sales and service out of full service nursery.
- Transplanting, growing, and harvesting plants
- Overseeing the watering schedule
- Scouting for pests
- Maintaining growing reports
- Recommending strategies and tactics for greater quality and efficiency
- Stocking plants in nursery garden center
- Managing and monitoring inventory
- Assisting customers
We are seeking candidates for our Nursery Production Staff to help grow and maintain a wide range of landscape plants including trees, shrubs and perennials; as well as, help customers with retail sales and service out of full service nursery.
Looking for several potential candidates with a start date that is weather dependent but projected for around April 1st
Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Seasonal
Pay: Starts at $15.00 - $22.00 and up based on experience
Benefit package: available to qualified candidates, but would include Paid Time Off, Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance and Employee Stock Ownership
Desired experience: At least one year
