Front Desk Associate

D1 Bergen County is the Place for The Athlete!

Shifts available am/pm - Growth Opportunity - Incentives

Are you an experienced fitness customer centric professional that is genuinely nice, reliable, and passionate about fitness?

If YES, then we want to hear from you!

Under the guidance of the Assistant General Manager, D1’s Front Desk Associate will be responsible for assuring a super friendly in person and over the phone greeting at our state of the art training facility.

Qualifications & Experience:

Represent the fitness lifestyle
Be genuinely nice, friendly and passionate about people and their personal fitness goals
1 year of customer facing front desk reception
Comfortable providing guest facility sales tours to individuals and small groups
Detail oriented
Athletic background is a plus, familiar with training athletes, their environment and needs
Social media content capture and creation
Grass roots marketing
Excellent communication skills

Areas of Focused Responsibilities:

65% Serve as a key point of contact with members, with emphasis on providing the D1 member experience. Duties include assisting with greeting, check-ins, touring, following up on leads, selling new memberships, collecting and processing payments, providing front desk retail sales and information, and assisting with special events both at the facility and out in the community.

15% Capture social media content, complete physical inventory to prevent theft, loss or shortage and assist venue breakdown/setups.

15% Assist the D1 Coaching Staff with timely schedule adherence, facility tidiness including front retail area, offices and restrooms, and be the point of contact for visiting vendors. Provide light housekeeping duties as needed to maintain appropriate service levels.

5% Other duties as assigned.

Preferred education:

Preferred Bachelor degree (preferable in sport management, hospitality or exercise health and nutrition)

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
