Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Expeditor / Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the vital link ensuring seamless communication and coordination across procurement, logistics, and project management functions. Your energetic approach will drive timely delivery of materials, manage vendor relationships effectively, and support the overall supply chain operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex projects by maintaining schedules, tracking inventory, and facilitating smooth procurement processes. Your expertise in ERP systems and supply chain management tools will be instrumental in optimizing operational efficiency and supporting project success.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to expedite procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
Track purchase orders from initiation through receipt, ensuring compliance with contracts and negotiated pricing terms
Communicate proactively with vendors regarding order status, lead times, pricing adjustments, and delivery schedules
Utilize spreadsheets and Excel data analysis to monitor project timelines, analyze procurement data, and generate reports for management
Support sourcing activities by assisting in vendor evaluation, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management
Collaborate closely with logistics teams to coordinate transportation schedules and optimize supply chain flow for project needs

Skills

Extensive experience with materials management, purchasing management systems (technically supported), and supply chain management tools
Excellent vendor communication skills with a focus on negotiation and vendor relationship management
Skilled in inventory control techniques and logistics coordination to ensure seamless supply chain operations
Knowledge of procurement processes including sourcing, direct negotiation procurement, contracts management, and pricing strategies
Familiarity with accounting software related to supply chain transactions and vendor invoicing processes
Bilingual is a Plus!
