Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. Duties

Lead and manage all restaurant operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning with high standards of service and food quality
Supervise, train, and motivate staff members across front-of-house and kitchen teams, fostering a positive team environment
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to maintain safety, hygiene, and quality standards
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices
Utilize POS systems for order processing, cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold sanitation standards across all areas of the restaurant
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction
Implement shift management strategies to optimize staffing levels during busy periods while controlling labor costs
Conduct staff training sessions focused on food service management, customer service excellence, and safety procedures
Assist with budgeting, cost control measures, and financial reporting to meet operational goals

Requirements

Proven experience managing a full service restaurant with a strong understanding of restaurant operations
Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, interviewing skills, and staff development capabilities
Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling expertise essential
Knowledge of inventory control methods, food safety standards (including HACCP), and food industry best practices
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
Excellent communication skills for effective customer service and staff training purposes
Experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial management within hospitality or restaurant settings
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
