Full Job Description

Job Summary

District Dusters is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Commercial Cleaner to join our team in Easton, MD. This position is contingent upon contract award and will provide janitorial services for a professional office facility.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is punctual, and can consistently deliver high-quality cleaning services.

Pay & Schedule

$20.00 per hour
Part-time
Day shift
Approximately 2–3 days per week
Tuesday & Thursday during the summer months
Monday, Wednesday & Friday during the remainder of the year
Morning shifts beginning between 7:00 AM and 9:30 AM

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures
Clean and disinfect employee break rooms and kitchen areas
Sweep, vacuum, and mop hard floors and carpeted areas
Dust desks, furniture, windowsills, and other surfaces
Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners
Clean conference rooms, offices, hallways, lobbies, and common areas
Refill restroom and break room supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
Clean glass doors, interior windows, and other high-touch surfaces
Spot clean walls, doors, and light switches as needed
Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety hazards to the supervisor
Follow company cleaning procedures and OSHA safety guidelines
Maintain a professional appearance while representing District Dusters

Qualifications

Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Dependable, punctual, and professional
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and time management skills
Ability to safely use standard commercial cleaning equipment and products

Requirements

Reliable transportation to Easton, MD
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be able to pass a background check
Weekday morning availability required
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform routine cleaning tasks, including bending, standing, walking, and mopping for extended periods
Must be reliable and consistently arrive on time
