Position: Line Cook

Location: Bluepoint Hospitality, 9 Federal Street, Easton, MD 21601

Responsibilities: As a Line Cook, you’ll play a crucial role in our culinary team. Your expertise and creativity will contribute to the exceptional quality of our dishes. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

1. Food Preparation and Cooking:

Execute recipes with precision, ensuring consistency and flavor excellence.
Manage food stations, including grilling, sautéing, and plating.
Collaborate with fellow chefs to maintain high standards.

2. Quality Control and Presentation:

Inspect ingredients for freshness and quality.
Plate dishes beautifully, paying attention to aesthetics and portion sizes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Leadership and Training:
Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support.
Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork.
Train new cooks on techniques and safety protocols.
Menu Development:
Contribute ideas for seasonal menus and specials.
Experiment with flavors and ingredients to elevate our offerings.
Adapt to dietary restrictions and preferences.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 3 years as a line cook or similar role.
Skills: Proficient in various cooking techniques, knife skills, and food safety.
Passion: Love for creating delicious dishes and a commitment to excellence.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
