Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our financial team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and compliant individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns while providing exceptional client service. Your expertise in tax law, tax reporting, and accounting software will ensure our clients receive thorough and timely tax solutions. Responsibilities

Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns using advanced tax preparation software.
Ensure all tax documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with current tax laws and regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary financial information and clarify details related to their tax situations.
Stay updated on changes in tax law and regulations to provide accurate advice and ensure compliance.
Assist clients with tax planning strategies to optimize their financial outcomes.
Maintain organized records of all tax documents, reports, and client interactions for audit readiness.
Support client acquisition efforts through marketing initiatives and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Proven experience in tax preparation, including individual, corporate, and partnership taxes.
Strong knowledge of tax law, tax reporting procedures, and relevant accounting standards.
Proficiency with tax preparation software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar tools.
Familiarity with accounting software and financial software applications used in public accounting environments.
Excellent analysis skills combined with attention to detail for accurate calculations and data entry (including 10 key typing).
Effective communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members.
Background in bookkeeping or technical accounting is preferred but not required.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently while maintaining high-quality work.
