Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and personable Part-Time Sales Associate to join our hotel team. This position is responsible for promoting the hotel, building relationships with guests and local businesses, generating new sales opportunities, and helping increase room bookings, group business, and overall hotel revenue.

The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, confident communicating with customers, and comfortable working independently while representing the hotel in the local community.

Key Responsibilities

Promote hotel rooms, amenities, packages, and services to prospective guests and local businesses.
Identify and develop new sales opportunities through phone calls, emails, networking, and community outreach.
Build and maintain positive relationships with local businesses, organizations, travel groups, and community partners.
Follow up with prospective and past customers to generate repeat and new business.
Assist with group, corporate, and leisure sales inquiries.
Respond promptly and professionally to sales leads and customer questions.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, contacts, and follow-ups.
Work with the hotel management and front desk teams to ensure a positive guest experience.
Help promote special offers, events, and hotel promotions.
Represent the hotel professionally at local networking events and community activities when needed.
Meet or exceed established sales and revenue goals.
Perform other duties as assigned by hotel management.

Qualifications

Previous sales, customer service, hospitality, or hotel experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional, friendly, and outgoing personality.
Ability to build relationships and confidently communicate with potential customers.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with email and Microsoft Office or similar programs.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and represent the hotel positively.
Reliable transportation may be required for local sales calls and community outreach.
