Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Error Resolution Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, investigating, and resolving data discrepancies across various databases and systems. Your expertise in data management, technical proficiency, and organizational skills will ensure the accuracy and integrity of critical information that supports business operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to data quality initiatives while working in a fast-paced environment that values precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze data entries to identify errors or inconsistencies within databases, ERP systems, and spreadsheets
Investigate data discrepancies by cross-referencing multiple sources and applying logical problem-solving techniques
Correct errors efficiently while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
Utilize Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, to perform data analysis using pivot tables, formulas, and data sorting techniques
Document all error resolutions thoroughly in tracking systems and generate reports on recurring issues for process improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex data issues and streamline workflows
Perform routine data entry tasks with high accuracy, including order entry, transcription, and filing of records

Requirements

Proven experience working with databases, ERP systems, and productivity software such as Microsoft Excel and Word processing applications
Strong skills in Excel data analysis, including creating pivot tables and working with spreadsheets for data collection and validation
Excellent computer skills with the ability to handle large datasets efficiently using 10 key typing and data entry techniques
Basic math skills for verifying numerical accuracy during error resolution processes
Prior clerical or administrative experience involving filing, data collection, or office support roles
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
