Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Director of Culinary – Head Chef to lead our culinary operations for a 2+growing concept with energy, innovation, and excellence. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all food production, kitchen management, and culinary team leadership to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Your expertise in fine dining, catering, and food safety will drive the success of our culinary offerings while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and cost control. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the culinary vision and inspire a talented team dedicated to culinary artistry and hospitality excellence.

Duties

Lead and manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, menu planning, and food service management to ensure top-quality dining experiences.
Supervise culinary staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management to foster a motivated and cohesive team.
Oversee inventory control and food management processes to optimize stock levels, reduce waste, and maintain budget targets.
Implement and enforce food safety sanitizing procedures in compliance with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
Coordinate catering events and banquet services by managing food production timelines, staffing, and quality standards.
Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while accommodating dietary restrictions and guest preferences.
Monitor kitchen operations during shifts to ensure efficiency, cleanliness, safety standards, and exceptional service delivery.
Collaborate with management on cost control initiatives and menu pricing strategies to maximize profitability without compromising quality.

Experience

Extensive culinary experience with a proven track record in fine dining establishments or similar high-end hospitality settings.
Supervising experience leading diverse culinary teams in fast-paced environments.
Strong background in food production, catering, banquet services, and restaurant management.
Knowledge of inventory management systems and inventory control practices.
Demonstrated expertise in food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and maintaining health standards.
Experience managing large-scale events such as banquets or catering functions is highly desirable.
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage shifts effectively, and foster a positive work environment.
Familiarity with cost control measures within the food industry to ensure operational efficiency.
