Full Job Description

Overview

One Source Contracting is premier design and build general contracting company, who specializes in high end residential remodels, additions, historic renovations and complex structural projects. Throughout our 25 year history, we have honed in on providing a seamless client experience as well as the highest standard of quality assurance in all of our projects - big or small.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee projects from pre to post construction. Looking for someone with minimum 5 years experience in a management or lead role with extensive construction knowledge. An ideal candidate would be proactive, adept at communication with team members, subcontractors, industry peers and clients alike.

Candidate must be solution-oriented with exceptional prioritization and organizational skills and would be expected to not only manage relationships but create project schedules, work within our project management software, profitability and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.

Candidate is expected to equally split time between job-sites and office in order to maintain a proper balance of field supervision and office work. Working hours are 8am-4pm Mon-Fri.

Requirements

Valid Driver's License and Working Vehicle
5 Years in a Lead or Management Position
Construction Knowledge

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Develop detailed project schedules using project management software, coordinating construction schedule timelines effectively.
Manage project budgets through accurate cost estimation, cost management strategies, and ongoing financial tracking utilizing Google Suite.
Oversee procurement processes including contracts review, negotiations, and compliance with construction regulations and safety standards.
Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and environmental regulations while managing teams in a construction management role.
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to interpret construction plans and blueprints (Blueprint reading).
Utilize construction management software and email communication for project documentation, progress tracking, and communication.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, safety compliance, and resolve any issues promptly.
Coordinate project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and daily reports.
Lead project meetings to communicate updates effectively and manage project risks proactively.

Qualifications

Proven experience managing residential construction projects with a strong track record of successful delivery.
Extensive knowledge of construction estimating, scheduling, cost management, and project management software tools.
Strong understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Skilled in architectural plan reading and interpreting complex construction plans.
Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently using time management techniques.
Proficiency in Google Suite for documentation and communication purposes.
Construction site experience with a focus on managing complex infrastructure or residential projects is highly preferred.
Effective leadership qualities with strong communication skills to coordinate multiple stakeholders seamlessly.
