Anubis Engineering, Inc. (Anubis) is a civil and environmental engineering firm headquartered in Edinburg, Texas. We are at the forefront of the industry, working on many advanced water and wastewater treatment projects such as membrane filtration, desalination, membrane bioreactor treatment, potable and non-potable wastewater reuse, and collaborative delivery projects. With more advanced treatment experience than most firms in Texas, Anubis is in high demand for projects across the state. Our clients include cities, utilities, quasi-governmental entities, and private commercial and industrial clients, including companies growing rapidly in the AI sector.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Graduate Drafter located in Edinburg, TX with some work from home flexibility. Experience in treatment plant design drafting preferred but not required. The Graduate Drafter will be responsible for the following:

Assist with preparing drawings and revising existing engineering drawings.
Assist with preparing and revising plot drawings.
Responsible for adhering to company and client drafting standards and procedures.
Assist in drafting design and documentation for various projects.
Research solutions to project concerns and recommend solutions to design and permitting problems.
Use CAD Software for Client projects after being trained.
Interpret and incorporate design codes and specifications related to design requirements.
Organize and maintain all revisions of project drawings, plot files and project-related information are stored in a logical and well-structural manner.
Execute changes to designs or sketches and redlines or mark-ups on ongoing projects.
Work with leaders and team members to facilitate/support internal change efforts to increase organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

High School Graduate or GED, documentation required.
College degree or some college course work in drafting technology or specialized CAD certification, preferred.
Ability to learn and effectively utilize new CAD software programs.
Ability to work collaboratively with others including, but not limited to Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers in a multi-discipline project team environment to resolve design or drawing issues as appropriate and to accomplish objectives.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
