Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our dedicated legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support an established personal injury litigation firm. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and passionate about delivering exceptional legal support. You will play a vital role in communicating with clients, managing case files, drafting documents, and ensuring smooth administrative operations within a legal environment. This paid position is designed for individuals eager to grow their legal expertise while contributing to impactful legal work.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with case intake, handling client calls, assisting clients with medical providers, requesting medical records, charring medical treatments, drafting notices letters, and depending on experiences, preparation by organizing and reviewing legal documents, pleadings, and evidence.
Draft and proofread legal documents including pleadings, contracts, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
Manage case files efficiently using document management system; ensure all records are accurate, up-to-date, and properly filed.
Support client communication by scheduling meetings, preparing summaries of case statuses, and handling confidential information with discretion.
Assist with document review and data entry tasks related to litigation support and administrative filings.

Requirements

Proven paralegal experience or legal support experience at personal injury or civil litigation law firm.
Knowledge of procedural law principles and experience with legal case management software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) .
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Writing skills for drafting clear legal documents and correspondence; proofreading accuracy is essential.
Effective client communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette.
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
Attention to detail.
Spanish language proficiency to communicate with Spanish speaking clients.
