Full Job Description

Picadeli is on a mission to bring affordable, healthy, delicious food to cities and towns across America. Picadeli partners with its retail and food service customers to place Picadeli’s high-tech salad bars in retail locations, offering consumers fresh, customizable meals. We offer our customers a turnkey solution, providing the technology, hardware, food, and non-food items needed to operate the salad bar. This creates an easy-to-run operation for our customers, and a consistent, high-quality experience for consumers.

Customer Success Specialist
The Customer Success Specialist (CSS) plays a critical role in the continued growth and success of Picadeli US and its customers. This is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for owning the installation of new Picadeli salad bars at retail and food service partner sites (e.g., grocery stores, hospitals, colleges, corporate dining), as well as managing ongoing day-to-day partner relationships to ensure consistent adherence to Picadeli’s operating guidelines and an excellent consumer experience.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a highly autonomous, accountable environment. CSSs manage their own schedules, prioritize their work, and execute effectively with minimal supervision and a high degree of personal accountability. You will work across multiple functional areas including quality, food safety, hardware/software, training, finance, and marketing to support store performance and drive continuous improvement.
This role requires regular travel: typically 4 days per week visiting stores in-market by car, in- and out-of-market travel during installation weeks, plus occasional weekend travel.
Responsibilities

Install and launch new Picadeli salad bars at customer locations and ensure smooth onboarding
Train store teams on operations, food safety, software tools, and reporting
Build strong relationships with store managers and staff; serve as the primary point of contact for ongoing support
Ensure retailers follow Picadeli operational guidelines and maintain high standards of execution
Own performance for assigned stores, including monthly performance reporting, insights, and recommendations shared with internal teams and store management
Visit stores regularly to assess needs, identify opportunities, and provide hands-on support
Develop and execute action plans with stores to increase sales, profitability, and customer engagement (e.g., volume goals, campaigns, training)
Conduct routine quality checks and basic maintenance on salad bars and related equipment
Perform additional duties as needed to support customer success

Experience & Competencies
Experience

Strong self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset; able to manage priorities, solve problems independently, and operate without micromanagement
Clear, patient communicator with strong training and relationship-building skills
Responsive, adaptable, and committed to customer satisfaction while upholding Picadeli standards
Comfortable working in active retail and food service environments, including being on your feet for extended periods and working in cold or back-of-house areas when needed
Solid understanding of key business drivers (sales, gross margin, labor, operating costs)
Comfortable working across multiple disciplines—food quality, hardware, software, marketing—with a general interest in food and retail operations
Relevant education and/or 3+ years of experience; valid driver’s license required
Ability to travel up to ~80% (primarily in-market with periodic out-of-market or overnight travel)

Pay: $75,000.00 - $93,500.00 per year
