Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team with enthusiasm and expertise at Hotshots O'Fallon, IL. In this role, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensure food quality and safety standards are met, and manage daily food production. Your leadership will inspire staff, streamline processes, and elevate the guest experience through efficient kitchen management. This paid position offers an opportunity to thrive in a lively hospitality environment while honing your culinary and management skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality food preparation.
Lead staff training and development to foster a skilled, motivated culinary team.
Oversee food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper handling procedures to maintain compliance.
Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Conduct shift management duties including scheduling, supervising staff performance, and resolving issues promptly.

Experience

Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments with strong kitchen management skills.
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety management.
Demonstrated leadership in supervising teams within casual dining or hospitality settings.
Familiarity with POS systems like SpotOn POS preferred.
Prior experience managing inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and training & development initiatives.
Experience working in fine dining or banquet settings is a plus.
Strong knowledge of restaurant management practices including shift management, food production, catering, and hospitality operations.
