Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse and make a meaningful difference in patient care across diverse medical settings. In this vital role, you will provide expert nursing services, coordinate patient assessments, administer treatments, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards. Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews.
Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols, including IV infusions and medication management.
Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, catheterization, ostomy care, and ventilator management with precision and aseptic technique.
Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks to document patient information thoroughly and accurately.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients across acute care, long-term care, hospice, behavioral health, and pediatric settings.
Manage emergency situations efficiently by applying critical care skills such as airway management, trauma response, and acute pain management.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols to protect patient privacy and safety at all times.

Skills

Proven experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, neonatal (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedures), and individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and laboratory procedures.
Skilled in using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for documentation and medical records management.
Expertise in specialized areas including cardiology (cardiac catheterization), ophthalmology (Botulinum toxin treatment), trauma medicine (Level I & II Trauma Center experience), ICU experience (Intensive Care Unit), PICU experience (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), dialysis procedures, infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, and occupational health.
Ability to perform complex procedures such as phlebotomy, venipuncture, tube feeding management, sterile processing techniques, and specimen collection/processing.
Excellent patient assessment skills combined with the ability to triage effectively in urgent care or emergency room settings.
Knowledge of medical documentation standards adhering to NCQA standards for quality assurance.
Strong communication skills to educate patients on health coaching topics like nutrition or discharge planning while collaborating seamlessly within multidisciplinary teams.
