And with the autonomy to build a portfolio of brands that you can point to and say, "I made that happen."This is that opportunity.Our client, a rapidly growing omnichannel marketplace seller, is looking for a Buyer to lead their new brand and distributor acquisition efforts. You won't be processing orders or managing spreadsheets. You'll be hunting, negotiating, and closing—owning the top of the sourcing funnel and reporting directly to the owner.

Every brand you bring on board contributes directly to catalog growth, revenue expansion, and margin improvement. You won't be a small cog in a large machine. You'll be a visible, impactful driver of commercial success—with a seat at the table and a voice in strategic decisions.
About Our Client
Our client is an omnichannel marketplace seller generating the majority of their revenue through Amazon, with significant and growing operations on Walmart, eBay, and Temu. They've built their business on a simple but powerful principle: establish direct relationships with brands and authorized distributors, and resell their products across multiple marketplaces.They're not a large, bureaucratic organization. They're agile, data-driven, and growth-focused. Decisions are made quickly. Results are recognized and rewarded. And the team is lean enough that your contributions will be seen, heard, and valued.If you're looking for a place where your work directly influences company strategy, you've found it.

What You'll Own
You'll own the full acquisition lifecycle from start to finish. This isn't a handoff role where you pass leads to someone else. You identify the opportunities. You build the relationships. You negotiate the terms. You close the deals.Specifically, you'll:

Source new brands and distributors. Identify, research, and approach brands and authorized distributors that fit the catalog strategy. Build and maintain a strong, qualified pipeline of targets.
Lead the full sales cycle. Represent the company to prospective brand partners. Run outreach, discovery calls, and negotiations—all the way through to signed wholesale or brand-exclusive agreements.
Negotiate commercial terms. Secure competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, minimum order quantities, and exclusivity arrangements where available.
Evaluate deal economics. Use Keepa, margin analysis, sales velocity data, and competitive intelligence to assess product viability. Only onboard opportunities with strong profit potential.
Own your pipeline. Maintain a clear, accurate pipeline of brand targets—including activity, status, next steps, and projected value.
Coordinate a seamless handoff. Work with internal buying and warehouse teams to onboard new brands and SKUs efficiently and without delays.
Grow relationships over time. Deepen the partnerships you bring on by expanding SKU selection, improving terms, and pursuing exclusive arrangements.

What Makes You Successful
You'll thrive in this role if you're a natural hunter—someone who's energized by the process of identifying opportunities, building relationships, and closing deals. You're not afraid to pick up the phone, send the email, or have the difficult negotiation conversation. You do it because you know it's how you win.You'll be especially successful if:

You have at least 3 years of experience in Amazon FBA wholesale, reselling, or marketplace buying. Ideally, you've run your own FBA resale business or worked as a buyer for an established Amazon reseller.
You can point to brands you've sourced and signed. You have existing relationships with brands and distributors, and you can name them. If you don't have relationships yet, this isn't the right role for you.
You're fluent in Keepa and data analysis. You can look at a product, understand its sales velocity, competition, and margin potential, and make a confident decision about whether it's worth pursuing.
You're a confident communicator and negotiator. You can represent the company professionally, build rapport with brand partners, and negotiate terms that work for both sides.
You're commercially minded. You understand that not every deal is a good deal. You know how to assess risk and opportunity, and you're focused on profitable catalog growth.

Nice to Have

Experience negotiating brand exclusivity or authorized reseller agreements.
Existing relationships across multiple consumer-product categories (grocery, beauty, hardlines, softlines).
Experience selling on Walmart, eBay, Temu, or other online marketplaces.
Familiarity with wholesale onboarding, purchasing, inventory planning, and warehouse coordination.

You'll build and track a qualified pipeline of prospective brands and distributors.By Day 60You'll have active negotiations in motion with qualified prospects and will have signed your first new brand or distributor relationship.By Day 90You'll have established a repeatable, scalable flow of signed brand partnerships.
