This is a rare opportunity to help establish the culture, traditions, academic excellence, and Christ-centered foundation of a new Montessori school from its very beginning. The successful candidate will play an important role in shaping the future of our students, families, and school community while helping build a Christ-centered, authentic Montessori environment.

Position Summary
We are seeking a warm, mature, dependable, servant-hearted, and highly professional educator who possesses a genuine love for Jesus Christ, a commitment to the Christian faith, a passion for authentic Montessori education, Christ-centered learning, and serving children and families, and a desire to grow professionally while helping establish a new school.
The successful candidate will help create an outstanding Montessori classroom while contributing to the long-term vision of IMAGO Montessori Academy and Christ Living Foundation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of professional experience working with young children
- Passion for early childhood education
- Demonstrated passion and commitment to authentic Montessori education and Christ-centered education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Strong organizational and classroom management abilities
- Dependable, responsible, and self-motivated
- Ability to work collaboratively with leadership and colleagues
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to pass all required background checks
- Willingness to support the Christian mission and values of the school
Preferred Qualifications
- AMI Primary (3–6) Diploma strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Understanding of Christian education
- Experience working in an authentic Montessori environment
- CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience communicating professionally with families
- Experience preparing and maintaining a Montessori classroom

Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain an authentic Montessori classroom
- Present Christian lessons, Bible stories, character education, and Biblical principles in developmentally appropriate ways while integrating Christian values within an authentic Montessori environment. Training and mentoring may be provided for exceptional candidates who demonstrate strong potential and commitment.
- Guide children using Montessori philosophy and best practices
- Foster independence, concentration, confidence, and joyful learning
- Observe, assess, and document student progress
- Build respectful and trusting relationships with children and families
- Maintain a peaceful, orderly, and beautiful classroom environment
- Communicate professionally with parents and colleagues
- Participate in meetings, school events, and professional development
- Support the mission and vision of IMAGO Montessori Academy
- Contribute to establishing the culture and traditions of a founding school

Compensation & Benefits
Salary and benefits will be commensurate with education, experience, Montessori credentials, and overall qualifications. We recognize and reward experience, professional credentials, leadership ability, and a demonstrated commitment to excellence.
