Full Job Description

FlexTrades is seeking a highly skilled, hands-on CNC Programmer to support complex machining operations in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. This role focuses primarily on CNC lathes but requires the ability to program across multiple machine platforms. The ideal candidate is quality-driven, collaborative, and thrives in a hands-on prove-out environment.

Qualifications

Experience with Mastercam and CNC programming
Strong G & M code knowledge
Multi-axis machining experience preferred
Ability to read prints and understand GD&T
Experience with aluminum, stainless, and titanium
Hands-on, team-oriented, and quality-focused
Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

Program CNC machines offline using Mastercam
Write and edit G & M code (Fanuc, Haas)
Support lathes, mills, and multi-axis machines (4- and 5-axis)
Prove out programs at the machine and work closely with operators
Troubleshoot machining and program issues
Create setup sheets and support first article inspections (FAIs)
Program complex parts with tight tolerances and high-quality standards

Pay and Benefits:

Pay: $50/hour
Guaranteed Overtime Each Week paid at time and a half
Access to a full suite of benefits
Travel Pay to and from the project
Paid lodging (Single-Occupancy Hotel Room)
Per diem ($45/day)
Must meet drug test requirements

This role is hands-on and includes programming, troubleshooting, and training others—are you comfortable with that?
