Full Job Description

Accountant / Bookkeeper – Property Management (Full Time - In Office)

Join a well-established property management company with more than 60 years of experience in the industry.

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accountant/Bookkeeper to become a valued member of our team.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience required
College degree is not required; relevant experience is valued

Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R)
Bank reconciliations
General ledger maintenance
Month-end closing and financial statements
Quarterly owner distributions
Processing a high volume of reimbursements
Preparing and processing 1099s
Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting accounting functions

Qualifications

Proficiency in QuickBooks
Experience with AppFolio preferred (or similar property management software such as Yardi, MRI, or RealPage)
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

Previous property management accounting experience
Bilingual in Spanish a plus
