Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced environment where precision and safety are paramount.

Responsibilities

Safe and efficient manufacturing of machined components utilizing multiple pieces of CNC lathes and milling machines.
Produce the quota as directed by management while putting safety, customer service and quality at the highest regard.
Safely load and unload material into machine.
Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and troubleshooting on machinery to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Keep written record of tasks performed, time spent, and any other additional data required by project.

Qualifications

Able to multi-task and work at a fast pace; our operators typically operate two machines at a time.
Ability to read and interpret prints and measuring equipment is a major plus, but we can teach as needed.
Previous CNC machine work is preferred but not required.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and independent thinking.
Strong attention to detail.
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting machinery issues promptly.
Mechanical aptitude.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Frequent seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hand(s).

· Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.

· Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items more than 50 pounds.

· Very frequent work near moving mechanical parts.

· Very frequent loud noise.
