Base Salary + Uncapped Commission

First year earning potential $65,000-$100,000
Target annual earnings $100,000+
Top performers earn $150,000+

At Pella Windows & Doors of Northern Indiana, we aren't looking for someone who waits for opportunities, we are looking for someone who creates them.

As a Builder Account Manager, you'll develop long-term relationships with builders, contractors, remodelers, and construction professionals throughout Northern Indiana. You'll manage your own territory, build a healthy sales pipeline, and become the trusted resource your customers rely on for quality window and door solutions.

What You'll Do

As a Builder Account Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and growing a sales territory by:

Prospecting and developing new builder and contractor relationships.
Growing existing customer accounts through exceptional service and consistent follow-up.
Managing a healthy sales pipeline from initial contact through project completion.
Meeting with builders, contractors, architects, designers, and trade professionals to understand their business and recommend the right solutions.
Preparing and presenting quotes while communicating the value of Pella products and services.
Collaborating with our project coordination, operations, and installation teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Consistently meeting or exceeding monthly and annual sales goals.

What Success Looks Like

This position is intended for experienced outside B2B sales professionals who are comfortable prospecting, managing a long sales cycle, and developing business within the construction industry.

The successful Builder Account Manager:

Enjoys opening new doors and developing long-term customer relationships.
Keeps a disciplined sales pipeline and never lets opportunities go stale.
Is highly organized and follows through on commitments.
Balances relationship building with accountability for results.
Can confidently ask for the business while maintaining trust and professionalism.
Wants to own your territory and directly influence your income.

What We're Looking For

Required

Minimum 3 years of successful outside B2B sales experience.
Demonstrated success prospecting and developing new business.
Proven experience managing a sales pipeline from lead generation through project completion.
Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Strong relationship building, communication, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.

Preferred - Experience in one or more of the following industries:

Windows and doors
Residential or commercial construction
Building products - roofing, siding, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical sales

Helpful but not required

Blueprint reading or estimating experience
CRM experience
