Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide expert psychotherapy and counseling services to diverse client populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth. Duties

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage urgent situations effectively while ensuring client safety and well-being.
Provide specialized counseling services including grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, gender issues counseling, and behavioral management for clients with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
Maintain thorough medical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations, including detailed progress notes, treatment plans, and medical records using appropriate medical terminology.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management efforts to coordinate care plans for inpatient or outpatient clients across clinical research settings or hospital environments.
Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions while ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards and data collection protocols.

Experience

Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LPC)/(Assocciate);, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)/(LCSWA), or equivalent state licensure with active certification.
Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, or behavioral therapy in outpatient or inpatient settings.
Demonstrated expertise working with children, adolescents, or geriatrics—particularly those with disabilities or complex mental health needs.
Experience in crisis management and crisis intervention techniques within hospital or community-based environments.
Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation; experience with CPT coding is a plus.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health and familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards for patient confidentiality.
Prior telehealth experience is preferred; candidates should be comfortable utilizing digital platforms for remote patient care.
