Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital

Position is located: Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital

Work Type: PRN

Summary :

Assists anesthesiologists in the administration of anesthesia for surgical and non-surgical procedures. Assists with patient care during surgical treatment.

Responsibilities :

Insures a complete setup for anesthesia services in all anesthetizing locations.
Cleans, disinfects, sterilizes all anesthesia equipment.
Assists anesthesia personnel with airway equipment, and anesthesia machine set up/troubleshooting.
Assists with transport of monitored patients.
Seeks opportunities for professional growth and development.
Maintains a safe environment complying with NLH policies and procedures; reports and directly addresses environmental hazards and violations of patient safety policy and/or protocol when involved or observed.
May perform other duties upon request.
