Clinic Administrator - Dental
Primary Location: Bradford & Sullivan Counties
Reports To: Program Director of Dental
Schedule: Full-Time, EXEMPT
Role Objective:
The Clinic Administrator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the various clinic locations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with regulations. The Clinic Administrator manages coordination of staff and quality improvement initiatives to provide quality, cost-effective care.
Responsibilities:
Communicates effectively with senior management and physicians providing regular updates on operations. Facilitate staff meetings.
Ensures compliance with all system-wide/departmental policies and procedures, including maintaining patient confidentiality, as well as compliance with requirements of appropriate regulatory agencies (i.e., HRSA, OSHA, CLIA, PA Department of Health, etc.).
Identifies and resolves work problems to ensure quality patient service.
Integration of new physicians into Laurel Health practices.
Manages daily operations at clinic sites and coordinates work activities. Manages schedules and call-offs. Ensures office space, supplies, equipment, and assistance are provided and maintained appropriately for medical staff and patient care.
Address patient concerns and complaints, ensuring a high level of customer service
Monitor and meet practice specific benchmarks inclusive of point of service and scheduling (including template management for timely patient access), if applicable.
Trains, Directs, and supervise assigned personnel at clinic sites, including responsibility for performance evaluations, merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions of staff in collaboration with Human Resources.
Works with senior management to prepare budgets and ensure operations are aligned with organizational objectives and meets performance and budget objectives.
Oversee daily practice operations which may include assisting clinic staff with necessary and adequate support. Performs other relevant duties as assigned. Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft products
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong ethics and reliability Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in health or business administration and three years of healthcare experience including one year in a health care organization.

Or associate degree in health or business administration and 8 years of healthcare experience including one year in a health care organization.
Or High School Diploma and 8 years of healthcare experience.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Driver’s License
Act 33 Child Clearance
Act 34 Criminal Clearance
Act 73 FBI Clearance
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
