What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities
- Plant Improvements — Assist with planning and implementing facility upgrades, expansions, and process improvements.
- Maintenance Coordination — Create, schedule, and follow up on maintenance assignments, breakdown work orders, PM and PDM tasks within the CMMS (MP2).
- Preventative Maintenance — Perform PM activities in alignment with ISO and electrical standards.
- Documentation Management — Maintain accurate equipment files, prints, and maintenance records.
- Parts & Materials — Support parts replenishment to minimize production downtime.
- Electrical Schematics — Read, interpret, and modify electrical prints; document all changes.
- Mechanical Systems — Interpret mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic prints.
- CNC Environment — Work within CNC machining operations and support related equipment.
- Fabrication Skills — Use saws, grinders, torches, and other fabrication tools.
- Precision Measurement — Read gauges, scales, and dial indicators.
- Fluid Systems — Maintain hydraulic, coolant, and chip conveyance reclaim systems.
- Mechanical Repairs — Repair pulley systems, bearings, and gearboxes.
- Valve Systems — Work with pneumatic and hydraulic valves.
- Electrical Systems — Troubleshoot VFDs, relays, breakers, and contactors.
- Motor & Drive Systems — Work with AC/DC motors, drives, and servo systems (Fanuc/Siemens experience a plus).
- Hazardous Environments — Understand explosion‑proof and intrinsically safe environments; apply NEC and NFPA codes.
- Electrical Installations — Perform conduit and wiring installations.
- Sensors & Controls — Work with proximity switches, beam sensors, and laser distance sensors.
- Safety Compliance — Follow LOTO procedures and adhere to arc flash and electrical shock prevention standards.
What you bring to the team:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate Degree in a technical field preferred.
- 3–5 years of related experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Ability to write reports and communicate effectively with team members.
- Experience using and caring for a wide range of tools, equipment, and machines.
- Working knowledge of electrical wiring, electronic controls, PLC troubleshooting, machining, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems
