Job Summary:

Ground Works Land Design is hiring Property Maintenance Foremen and Property Maintenance Crew Members to join our growing maintenance division in Westlake, OH. Whether you are an experienced crew leader ready to manage routes and teams, or a motivated crew member looking to grow within landscape maintenance, we want to connect with you.

Our maintenance crews perform commercial and residential property maintenance including mowing, trimming, seasonal cleanups, bed maintenance, pruning, and snow operations during the winter months. Depending on experience, applicants may be considered for a Foreman leadership role or a hands-on Crew Member position.

Starting Pay Range:

Property Maintenance Crew Member: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience)
Property Maintenance Foreman: $21.00 – $26.00+ per hour or salary option (based on experience)

Duties/Responsibilities:

Property Maintenance Crew Members:

Perform routine maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and seasonal cleanups
Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees through pruning and weed control
Operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other maintenance equipment
Load and unload materials and maintain clean job sites
Support the Foreman to ensure quality service and efficiency

Property Maintenance Foremen:

Lead daily maintenance routes and supervise crew members
Operate zero-turn mowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, and related equipment
Communicate with clients and relay needs to Account Managers
Train crew members to Ground Works standards
Record hours and job progress using Field Service Management software (LMN)
Perform snow duties including plowing, salting, shoveling, and winter operations

All Team Members:

May be on-call for snow services during winter months
Must follow company safety standards and maintain a positive team culture
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Experience:

Property Maintenance Crew Members:

1+ years of landscape maintenance or related experience required
Ability to operate basic maintenance equipment efficiently
Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and reliability

Property Maintenance Foreman:

Minimum 2+ years of commercial mowing or landscape maintenance experience required
Valid driver’s license with minimal incidents or points in the last 3 years
Experience leading crews and communicating with clients preferred
Snow removal experience is a plus

*Spanish communication skills are a plus for both roles.

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift more than 50 lbs.
Able to crouch, bend, climb stairs/ladders for periods of time
Able to stand for long periods of time
