Full Job Description

Job Summary

The Manager Operations & Finance USA is responsible for the management of the USA-entity including the production location, the central warehouse and all support functions in Lorrain, OH. This role takes ownership of motivating the operations team to support successful sales, realizing the intended and agreed output for our customers. The Manager Operations & Finance USA is a member of the JPA local management team (LMT), where various managers from different disciplines (sales, product management, finance) come together to coordinate the functioning and results of the JPA entity. In addition, the job holder, on paper, acts as general manager for JPA (signatory authority).

Duties

Planning and performance of the full location.
Realization of effective performance, including Customer Satisfaction and plant productivity.
Accountability, evaluation, and adjustment of long-term plans.
Warehouse management.
Financial Reporting and accountability-Bottom line responsibility for the financial performance of operations activities of JPA, including the PPL production plant
Personnel management -providing guidance and support for the onsite staff.
Implement inventory control measures including stocking, merchandising, pricing strategies, and purchasing decisions
Warehouse management
Safety, health, environment and hygiene
Provide direction and guidance to employees to maintain partnerships and achieve goals.
Decision Making - Weighing possible courses of action and the information about them, using relevant criteria.
Results-oriented - Actions and decisions are aimed at achieving intended results.

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, supply chain or related fields
Knowledge of and experience with organizing effective business operations in a commercial environment;
Knowledge of and insight into factors that influence the realization of customer needs and customer satisfaction with regard to manufacturability, quality, return, risk management, etc.;
Knowledge of and experience with personnel management;
Knowledge of and experience with implementing changes in organizations;
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations for safety, health and the environment.
