Full Job Description

Job Summary
I am seeking an energetic Executive Secretary with good dictation skills to join our team! I want to train this employee to become my personal assistant. I am President of Clean Gas, Inc, Chairman of the Bank of Hindman’s holding company and a very active Board member for the Appalachian Artisan Center so I am involved in many activities.

In this vital role, you will serve as the on-site assistant to me, focusing on helping me get my weekly goals met and providing administrative and technical support, managing communications, and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.

The ideal candidate is proactive, tech-savvy, and possesses excellent interpersonal skills to handle diverse responsibilities with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Schedule appointments, coordinate my calendar and organize meetings using digital tools such as Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
Handle data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and confidentiality across all administrative tasks.
Maintain office supplies inventory, process invoices using QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software, and support basic office management functions
Handle all clerical duties such as typing correspondence, taking dictation for memoes and emails, managing files, and supporting other administrative projects as needed.

Skills

Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Prior office experience including clerical tasks, data entry, filing, and calendar management. preferred but not required
Exceptional communication skills
Intimate knowledge of Appalachian culture.
Demonstrated ability to proofread documents accurately and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
Technical skill savvy and familiarity with social media

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
