Part-Time Medical Receptionist / Office Support

25 Hours per Week | Monday–Friday | 12:30 PM – 5:30 PM

For more than 30 years, Generations Geriatric Mental Health has provided specialized mental health care for older adults throughout New Hampshire. Our physicians, advanced practice providers, psychologists, therapists, and administrative team work together to provide compassionate, high-quality care while supporting patients, families, and caregivers through some of life's most challenging times.

We're looking for a dependable, compassionate professional to join our front office team. If you enjoy staying busy, solving problems, helping people, and being an essential part of a collaborative healthcare team, we'd love to hear from you.

What We Offer

Guaranteed 25 hours per week
Monday-Friday, 12:30 PM-5:30 PM
No evenings or weekends
Competitive hourly pay ($16-$19/hour based on experience)
EPIC experience is helpful but not required—we will train the right candidate

About the Position

Our front office is the hub of a busy specialty practice. This is not a quiet reception desk position. Every day involves coordinating multiple providers, assisting patients and caregivers, answering phones, scheduling appointments, managing electronic medical records, and responding to changing priorities throughout the day.

The person who succeeds in this role enjoys staying organized, thinks several steps ahead, and remains calm, friendly, and professional even during busy periods. While there is always plenty to do, you'll be supported by an experienced team that values communication, teamwork, and helping one another succeed.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and caregivers with warmth, professionalism, and patience
Check patients in and out while providing outstanding customer service
Manage a busy multi-line telephone system
Coordinate appointments for multiple providers
Accurately enter and update patient information in EPIC
Verify insurance and demographic information
Scan and organize electronic documents
Assist with administrative and basic billing tasks
Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, pharmacies, and other healthcare professionals
Help maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming front office

Healthcare office experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates strong organizational skills, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
