About Mile-Hi Skydiving

Mile-Hi Skydiving is Colorado's largest and most established skydiving operation with the only full-time drop zone within 100 miles of Denver and Boulder. Located just 12 miles from Boulder in Longmont, CO, we've been sending people into the sky for over 28 years and now execute more than 35,000 jumps annually across a fleet of four aircraft.

We're a passionate, tight-knit team that loves what we do and genuinely cares about every person who walks through our doors, whether they're jumping for the first time or their thousandth. From first-timers to licensed sport jumpers to military free-fall training, we do it all.

The Role

We're looking for a sharp, organized, and energetic Operations and Administrative Coordinator to join our team full-time. You'll have real exposure to every corner of the business and work directly alongside the owner from day one.

You'll keep operations running smoothly behind the scenes: managing contractor and payroll paperwork, coordinating schedules, running reports, handling vendor orders, and supporting whatever projects come across the owner's desk. No two days look exactly the same here, and that's part of what makes this role great.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to learn how a real business operates from the inside out and build a foundation across operations, administration, and business management.

What You'll Do

Collect, process, and upload payroll and contract labor onboarding paperwork.
Maintain and run contract labor reports and other operational reports as needed.
Schedule contractors and employees; coordinate across departments.
Order jumper products and manage related purchasing tasks.
Handle phone communications with staff and vendors.
Support website maintenance and updates as needed
Work directly with the owner on a variety of business projects.
Collect, organize, and present data to support ongoing projects and decisions.
Flex across departments. You’ll touch a little bit of everything.

Skills & Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required)
Experience with or interest in AI tools
Comfortable learning proprietary and in-house software
Strong multitasking ability. You’ll juggle multiple priorities at once.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Flexible availability, including potential weekend hours during peak season
Ability to work across multiple departments and adapt quickly

Our salary compensation amount for this role is targeted at $55,000-65,0000/yr in Longmont, Colorado. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.

Mile-Hi Skydiving has a physical office and hangar space in Longmont, Colorado. Employees in this role are required to be physically present at this location 5 days per week. Due to the nature of flight operations, schedules vary weekly and will include weekend days. Employees should expect to work Saturdays and Sundays during peak season, typically May 1 – October 31. Weekend days may also be required outside of peak season.
