Full Job Description

Position Summary

Yardmaster, LLC is seeking a dedicated Landscape Crew Leader to lead our maintenance crews on commercial properties. As the primary on-site leader, you will oversee daily operations to ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to our highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Supervise and lead landscape maintenance crews on assigned routes and properties.
Field Operations: Perform and oversee core services including mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, mulching, and seasonal cleanups.
Project Management: Plan daily activities, assign tasks, and manage crew productivity to meet contract specifications.
Safety & Equipment: Ensure the safe operation of mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscape equipment while maintaining a professional job site.
Mentorship: Train and support crew members to improve their technical skills and overall performance.
Communication: Maintain regular contact with the Production Manager regarding progress, staffing, and customer concerns.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of landscape maintenance experience. Previous experience in a leadership or foreman role is preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of turf care, plant materials, and pruning techniques.
Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities, with the capacity to read and follow job schedules.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
Comfortable working long hours outdoors in various weather conditions.
Capability to operate equipment safely on uneven terrain

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
