Pay Range: $25.00 – $28.00+ per hour DOE, plus overtime opportunities

Schedule: Full-Time

Location: Eugene, OR

Industry: Residential Construction / Outdoor Living Projects

Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Construction Crew Leader to join a growing team specializing in residential exterior construction projects. This position is ideal for someone with construction experience who enjoys leading projects, working hands-on in the field, and delivering high-quality craftsmanship.

As a Crew Leader, you will oversee a 2-person crew and take ownership of projects from start to finish. Depending on your skill set and experience, you may focus on cedar fencing projects or lead more complex deck, patio cover, and outdoor structure installations.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled construction professional looking to grow their leadership responsibilities while continuing to work in a hands-on building environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a 2-person construction crew
Build and install:
Residential fences
Decks
Patio covers
Outdoor living structures
Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards
Communicate professionally with homeowners and customers throughout projects
Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and permits when required
Use company software and mobile applications to document project progress, materials, and job information
Coordinate daily work activities and assign tasks to crew members
Monitor project timelines and maintain productivity goals
Troubleshoot job site challenges and identify effective solutions
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Ensure proper use and care of company vehicles, tools, and equipment

Qualifications & Skills

1–3+ years of construction, carpentry, or related trade experience
Leadership experience or desire to grow into a leadership role
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively manage priorities and deadlines
Strong problem-solving abilities and job site decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and lead a small team
Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated

Fence construction
Deck building
Residential carpentry
Outdoor living construction
General construction leadership experience
Experience reading plans and permits

Requirements

Valid Driver's License required
Ability to safely perform physical construction work throughout the day
Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials and equipment
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
