South Willamette Veterinary Clinic is a mixed animal practice, nestled in the beautiful Willamette Valley. Our continual care has allowed us to build personal relationships with loyal clients and their beloved pets. We are proud to have serviced our community for over 20 years.

Our practice philosophy is to deliver compassionate care for every patient while using evidence-based modern medicine. We share a fully equipped facility including in-house laboratory, digital radiography and ultrasonography, four examination rooms, spacious small and large species treatment areas and surgery suite. Who you are...

The Client Service Representative (CSR) is a significant role on our team, being the first point of contact for our clients and patients. Our ideal candidate enjoys working in a client-facing role, bringing a consistent 'can-do' attitude, taking pride in all of their job functions. One who is naturally friendly and shows flexible demeanor in the face of varying communications from clients and colleagues. Excellent verbal and organizational skills with strong ability to problem solve and commitment to client service is essential.

Job duties and responsibilities

Handle stress and pressure with poise and tact
Show respect for clients, team members and animals always
Greet clients in person upon entering the clinic and via multi-line phone system
Triaging patient medical concerns with the ability to determine level of urgency
Strategically prioritize daily tasks in a fast-paced environment
Effectively utilize appointment schedule to maximize patient care, veterinarian case-load and daily clinic flow
Maintaining EMR's including veterinarian notes and recommendations, client communications and detailed patient-related medical questions and updates
Invoicing and billing, ensuring accuracy with cash-handling and electronic payment processing
Completion of general clerical duties and correspondence; scanning, filing, uploading, faxing, appointment requests, sending and receiving patient records, client communications via in person, direct call, email and 2-way texting
Educating clients regarding veterinary care, treatment options, recommended diagnostics and procedures
Ensuring all areas of the hospital are clean and sanitary
Equine medical knowledge is highly preferred, though not required

Qualifications:

Skills Test assessments - required
Minimum of 1-2 years prior experience client service representative/medical setting - required
Minimum of 1-2 years prior experience in a veterinary clinic setting -strongly preferred

Flexible Schedule:

Full Time Positions: 4-Day/5-Day Work Week (day shift)
Part Time Positions: Day Shift
No Required Night Shift
