Full Job Description

Versant Diagnostics is a rapidly growing physician services company focused on Digital Anatomic Pathology and is leading the revolution to improve the precision, accuracy, and speed of diagnosis.

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Branding and Product Development to lead our brand strategy and product innovation efforts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our brand presence and product offerings in a competitive marketplace.

Position Description

- Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Develop and execute comprehensive branding strategies to enhance market visibility and brand equity.

· Curate educational content created by Versant physicians under the Versant brand(s)

· Assist Versant physicians with publication of new content and/or literature

· Develop, launch and manage patient and provider education opportunities, delivery channels, relationships, communication, venues and CME requirements.

· Assess new product offerings to drive business growth in the market.

o Once approved, position new product offerings against competition to drive awareness and growth... maybe some language about Product Launch experience.

· Oversee the product development and management lifecycle, from brainstorming possibilities, market assessment and product profile creation through product launch, ensuring alignment with market needs and company goals.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and drive product innovation and enhancements.

· Conduct market analysis to identify size, opportunities, trends, provider expectations and competitive positioning.

· Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.

· Develop and manage all society meeting activities including exhibits, teaching and speaking opportunities, promotional and collateral elements

· Develop and manage the related budget and all purchasing within budget items within the Director’s purview. Elements may include promotion, collateral, exhibit displays, hosting professional luncheons/dinners, academic activities and other marketing and educational venues.

- Skills, Qualifications and Expectations

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

· Experience assessing potential and current product lines including development, launch, ongoing management and reporting

· Minimum of 7 years of experience in mid-level to senior-level marketing roles, preferably within the healthcare or diagnostic industries.

· Proven track record in branding and product development with measurable outcomes.

· Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking ability to drive data-informed decisions.

· Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.

· Ability to travel to and work in multiple geographic locations when necessary to achieve company goals

· Attendance, involvement and leadership may be required at meetings and events held over weekends, evenings and in various geographic locations.
