Full Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Part-Time Front Desk Agent to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is highly organized, and wants to grow with our practice. We are looking for a team member who is interested in a long-term career, with opportunities for increased responsibilities, full-time employment, and career advancement.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and assist with check-in and check-out.
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries.
Maintain patient records while ensuring confidentiality.
Verify insurance benefits and assist with billing procedures.
Educate patients on treatment plans, wellness strategies, and office procedures.
Process patient payments and explain financial agreements, insurance estimates, and patient financial responsibilities.
Perform daily financial tasks, including accurate calculations of patient balances, payment plans, and insurance estimates.
Complete general administrative duties, including filing and medical data entry.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

Friendly, positive attitude with excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong phone etiquette and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of general clerical and administrative procedures.
Willingness to learn, work as part of a team, and provide an exceptional patient experience.
Strong mathematical skills, attention to detail, and confidence in explaining financial agreements, payment plans, and insurance estimates.
Previous experience in a medical or chiropractic office is a plus, but not required.

Position Details & Growth Opportunities

This position starts as part-time.
Full-time opportunities are available for employees who demonstrate strong performance and are interested in expanding their role.
We are looking for someone who wants to grow with our practice and stay long-term.
Employees who remain with the practice for one year or longer may become eligible for benefits such as health insurance and access to a 401(k) retirement plan (eligibility and plan details to be discussed).
Outstanding team members may have the opportunity to advance into lead or office manager roles with increased responsibilities and higher compensation.

Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
