Full Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a busy Level II Trauma Center in Everett, WA. The technologist will perform a wide range of MRI examinations for adult and geriatric patients across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and acute care settings. This position offers exposure to specialized imaging procedures, including Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI, while working with advanced GE MRI equipment and Epic documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MRI examinations following departmental protocols and safety standards.
Scan a variety of anatomy including brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis, chest, and musculoskeletal studies.
Prepare and administer contrast media as ordered.
Start peripheral IVs for contrast-enhanced imaging.
Operate GE MRI scanners and document patient care using Epic EMR and PACS.
Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Float between inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department imaging areas as needed.
Maintain MRI safety standards and ensure accurate image quality for diagnosis.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of MRI experience (facility preference is 2 years unless otherwise specified)
Washington State MRI Technologist License (required prior to start)
ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) certification (required)
BLS Certification
Experience using Epic electronic medical records
Experience in a community hospital setting

Pay: $2,200.00 - $2,300.00 per week
