Job Description/Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated nursing professional to join our team. Qualified candidates must hold either an Associate Degree in Nursing (RN) with at least one (1) year of nursing experience, or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in long-term care. The selected candidate will teach classroom instruction, clinical rotations, simulation lab, and skills lab for our LPN program.

With a BSN in nursing: Classroom Instructor Objectives include:

Deliver effective didactic instruction aligned with the LPN curriculum, course syllabi, and Virginia Board of Nursing standards.
Facilitate student learning using evidence-based teaching strategies and NCLEX-PN–style instructional methods.
Evaluate student academic performance through quizzes, exams, assignments, and remediation plans.

With Associate Degree: Clinical, Sim Lab, Skills Instructor Objectives include:

Supervise and evaluate LPN students in clinical settings to ensure safe, competent, and ethical nursing practice.
Guide students in applying classroom knowledge to real-world patient care within the LPN scope of practice.
Instruct and evaluate students in nursing skills using simulation scenarios and skills-lab competencies
Facilitate simulation experiences that promote clinical judgment, prioritization, and safe decision-making
