Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting café environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
Engage with customers to promote sales and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Uphold health and safety standards in food preparation and service.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
Proficient in retail math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash registers is preferred.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and processing payments accurately.
Knowledge of coffee types, brewing methods, and café culture is a plus.
Sales skills to effectively promote products and enhance the customer experience.
