Full Job Description

Criminal Justice Ministry (CJM) in St. Louis, MO, is dedicated to improving the safety and well-being of individuals affected by crime and the criminal justice system in the Greater St. Louis Area. Since 1979, CJM has provided support and empowerment to those impacted by incarceration through ministry, re-entry services, and advocacy for community safety and criminal justice reform.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Release to Rent Case Manager at Criminal Justice Ministry. The Case Manager will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to client re-entry services, including facilitating the transition of individuals affected by incarceration to stable housing. This role will be based in St. Louis, MO, with some hybrid flexibility and rotating on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

Case Management, Advocacy, and Crisis Intervention skills
Knowledge of housing resources and community support services
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations
Experience in client assessment and service planning
Familiarity with criminal justice system processes
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, or related field
Previous experience in re-entry services or related field is a plus
Experience working with vulnerable populations is a plus

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive client assessments to determine care needs and develop individualized case plans.
Collaborate with external providers to ensure care coordination.
Provide crisis intervention and support to clients, addressing emotional and social challenges.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold client confidentiality in all interactions.
Provide on-site life skills coaching and facilitate groups focused on challenges related to the re-entry experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year
