Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Lead Cook to join our team in a dynamic culinary environment. The Lead Cook will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring high-quality meals are served to our customers.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff in food preparation
Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
Monitor food inventory levels and place orders as needed
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and kitchen cleanliness standards
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new dishes and menus
Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and procedures

Qualifications

Proven experience working in a culinary role, preferably in a lead cook or similar position
Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and kitchen operations
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage kitchen staff
Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus but not required
