Full Job Description

Thrive at Home is seeking a compassionate, results-oriented Private Duty Home Care Manager to lead the daily operations of our Recruiting and Care Coordination teams. This role is responsible for developing a high-performing team that delivers exceptional service to seniors, their families, and our caregivers. Candidates MUST have previous Private Duty Home Care Management Experience. MUST also truly understand and be an expert in caregiver RECRUITING and CAREGIVER COORDINATION (scheduling).

The ideal candidate combines emotional intelligence, operational excellence, and accountability to build strong teams, improve processes, and achieve measurable results. This individual enjoys developing people, solving problems, improving systems, and contributing to the continued growth of the organization.

Success in this role is measured by team performance, client satisfaction, caregiver retention, scheduling efficiency, billable hour growth, and operational excellence.

What You'll Own

Lead the day-to-day operations of the Recruiting and Care Coordination teams.
Coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve individual and departmental performance goals.
Oversee caregiver recruiting efforts to attract, hire, and retain experienced, high-quality caregivers.
Ensure client schedules are staffed appropriately while promoting continuity of care whenever possible.
Ensure scheduling, care plans, and documentation support accurate payroll and billing.
Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, families, caregivers, and referral partners.
Develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training programs, and operational workflows.
Resolve escalated client, caregiver, and operational concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements that support growth and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Required

Two or more years of Private Duty Leadership experience.
Experience leading teams responsible for recruiting, staffing, scheduling, or client services.
Demonstrated success improving operational performance and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a background check.

Preferred

Experience with WellSky Personal Care (ClearCare) or similar home care software.
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Social Work, Gerontology, Psychology, or a related field.
Experience developing SOPs, training programs, and operational workflows.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $110,000 per year
