CNC MACHINIST – MULTI-MACHINE / SHORT-RUN PRODUCTION

We’re looking for a flexible, fast-moving operator who can juggle multiple machines, handle frequent setup changes, and keep production moving without sacrificing quality. You work best in a dynamic environment, adapt quickly to shifting priorities, and have a talent for troubleshooting on the fly.

We are seeking a CNC Machinist who thrives in a short-run production environment and takes pride in balancing speed with quality.
Key Accountabilities

Set up and run multiple mid-size CNC machines simultaneously, handling low-production runs with efficiency and accuracy.
Perform multiple setups throughout the day, adjusting tooling, fixtures, and offsets as needed.
Make minor program edits to improve efficiency or address machining issues.
Monitor part quality using precision inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.).
Troubleshoot and resolve machining challenges in real time, collaborating with the Lead Machinist and Quality Team when necessary.
Keep production flowing smoothly while maintaining high standards.
Adapt quickly to changing priorities and step in wherever needed to meet deadlines.

Competencies

Experience running and setting up multiple CNC machines in a production environment.
Comfortable with low-quantity runs requiring frequent setup changes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
Skilled in precision measuring equipment to verify part quality.
Basic CNC programming knowledge with the ability to make minor edits.
Strong troubleshooting skills and willingness to take initiative.
Interest or experience in robotics and mechatronics is highly desirable, reflecting a modern approach to machining and automation.
Proficiency with Mastercam, with the ability to make edits and a desire to continue developing this skill.
A drive to continuously learn and apply new knowledge in machining and manufacturing practices.
Reliable, quality-focused, and driven to keep production moving efficiently.
