Enterprise Market Experience Strongly Preferred

Must be NJ, Pa or NY based and have a minimum of 3 years sales experience in the telecommunications sector.

Job Description:

Data Network Solutions seeks an experienced, high energy sales professional to join our Enterprise Sales Team. The Senior Account Executive is responsible for building relationships in an effort to execute corporate customers’ strategic plans that ensure account growth and customer satisfaction. Along with our team of sales, service, and solution engineers, successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining and generating revenue by uncovering new opportunities for developing strategic solutions including AI Call Agents, IP telephony, 5G Mobility, network WAN services, Dedicated Internet, cloud computing and more. Successful candidates must be motivated, goal and detail oriented, willing to learn, and have a minimum of 3 years' experience in team environment sales.

Specific duties include :

Generating leads through prospecting and appointment setting.
Responding in a timely manner to incoming leads generated through marketing.
Attending trade shows and local networking events to assist in new lead generation.
Presenting DNS’s portfolio of services to prospects and existing customers.
Creating and maintaining a forecast of quality prospects that exceed assigned sales objectives and monthly revenue quotas.
Acquiring and communicating competitive solutions and emerging technologies at weekly sales meetings.
Cultivating and aggressively pursuing customer relationships for lead referrals.
Utilize order management system (Salesforce CRM) for lead/customer tracking and new sales entry.

Desired Competencies :

3+ years of successful NJ, Pa or NY Commercial Market sales and/or 3+ years of successful enterprise telecommunications, Cloud sales.
Ability to attend on-site customer appointments on a daily basis.
Versed account management skills.
Enhanced skills in consultative selling, negotiating, and creative problem solving by providing value added solutions to clients.
Clear understanding of Ethernet, MPLS, VoIP, Hosted PBX and converged IP telephony services.
Highly collaborative to successfully work and interface with Engineering and Operations to ensue meeting sales objectives.
Ability to function under deadline constraints.
High level of drive required to build a customer base in a competitive environment.
Highly organized, detail oriented individual possessing a strong work ethic, willingness to learn and ability to work independently.
Proven ability to demonstrate ROI to clients.
Commitment to meet specific quota expectations on a monthly basis.
Effective networker and experienced cold-caller.
Diligent management of the sales cycle to close of sale.
Superior listening and rapport building skills.
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook and Excel
Able to perform data base searches and downloads. .
Experience using a CRM package is a plus.
Possess valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance for visiting prospects and clients.
