Full Job Description

Overview
Bakery Equipment Company seeks a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to serve as the first point of contact for our customers while supporting key sales operations and accounts receivable functions.

This role goes beyond traditional reception — the ideal candidate will combine a warm, professional front-desk presence with hands-on responsibility for order processing, CRM management, and customer account follow-up, making them an integral part of our sales and customer service team.

Responsibilities

Answer and direct incoming calls and messages for all departments
Serve as the initial point of contact for incoming parts and service inquiries, ensuring accurate message taking and prompt routing to the appropriate team member
Manage and maintain customer records in ERP and CRM systems
Process pick-up and smallwares orders, invoices, and shipping notifications
Manage and distribute monthly customer account statements
Conduct initial follow-up calls on past due accounts and liaise with sales representatives and the service department to resolve outstanding balances
Perform clerical and general office management duties

Qualifications

Strong customer service experience with a friendly, outgoing personality
Prior experience in an AR, billing, or account follow-up role is a plus
Proficient computer skills with accurate data entry
Excellent organizational and communication skills, verbal and written
Professional and tactful phone manner, particularly when handling sensitive account conversations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required; Salesforce experience a plus
Multi-lingual applicants encouraged to apply

High school diploma or equivalent

Hours

Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | In Person

Pay: $44,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
