Full Job Description

The Fried Turkey Sandwich Shop will need a day shift BOH cook/prep who can focus on operating the kitchen along with staff and management, but must be capable of working all stations in a restaurant. Shifts will generally be from 9am or 10am until 2pm or 4pm, Flexible scheduling. Restaurant Management (pay around $20+/hr) and/or full-time are available if necessary skills are displayed. We are very flexible with scheduling.

Be quick and accurate. We must be able to work all station accurately while keeping ticket times below 8-10 minutes. This applies for cooking, cleaning, prep work, etc. Working with a deli slicer is required.
Reliable, Trustworthy, and Professional. You must be available Monday - Saturday during the time frames stated. Frequent call outs will not be tolerated.
Clean. Uphold strict sanitation procedures. We work with raw meats, gas fryers, gas grills, and equipment that must be thoroughly cleaned and maintained. Cleanup includes filtering the fryer, sweeping, mopping, unit breakdowns, etc.
Versatile and Multi-Tasking. This person must be capable of working all stations in the BOH but must also be competent in the FOH and registers. You must be able to greet guests.
Expedite. You must be able to move tickets. Everything from taking orders from customers to handing customers their food will be within bounds.
Cooperative and Initiative. Must be able to work well and communicate with everyone to maximize efficiency. And we need someone who doesn't constantly needs to be "tasked" and finds what needs to be done.

Bonus Scales and advancement opportunities will be available if you have the right skill set and reliability. Catering is a big avenue that will also need a catering director soon as well. We will do a 2-3 week trial run at $15/hour, then do an evaluation to see if you are capable. If you show skills, we move VERY quickly with raises. NO PHONE CALLS.
