Office location: Beverly Hills, CA.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Litigation Legal Secretary/assistant to join our litigation boutique law firm. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys with litigation and managing administrative tasks, maintaining files, and ensuring compliance with court and litigation procedures and calendering. The candidate will work with case management systems for calendaring, operations and organization. This position requires a strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures and candidate should be familiar with setting up pleading shells and other standard litgiation documents for attorneys.

Duties

Provide litigation and administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars, preparing draft pleadings and documents to be electronically filed. Experience with AI is helpful.
Maintain and organize legal files using My Case - a case management system.
Conduct document review and proofreading to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
Prepare, file, and serve legal documents in accordance with court rules and deadlines.
Assist in the preparation of case materials for trials, hearings, and meetings.
Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and other stakeholders.
Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.

Qualifications

Previous law office experience of 5+ years
Proficiency in legal software.
Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail for document accuracy.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
