Front Desk Coordinator/Administrative Assistant

Hours: 4days/wk, M-W 8:30-5, Thurs. 7-3

Are you an experienced dental front desk professional who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment? We are a mondern, well-established dental practice seeking a highly organized, personable, and detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator/Administrative Assistant to join our team.

We are looking for someone who understands dental/medical workflows, insurance processes and the importance of delivering an exceptional patient experience from the very first phone call.

Phillips Dental Care Center is a technology-driven, progressive, patient-focused dental office committed to clinical excellence and outstanding service. Our team works closely together, supports one another, and takes pride in creating a welcoming, professional atmosphere.

What You'll Do

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in the success of the practive.

Managing patient scheduling and maintaining a productive schedule
Verifying dental insurance and explaining benefits clearly to patients
Presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements
Handling patient check-in and check-out efficiently
Answering multi-line phones with professionalism and warmth
Coordinating with clinical team to ensure smooth daily flow
Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
Following up on unscheduled treatment and outstanding balances

What We're Looking For

2+ years of experience in a dental/medical front desk role

Strong knowledge of dental insurance (PPOs, claim submission, breakdowns)
Experience with dental/medical practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a busy environment

Requires High School Diploma/GED
