The MonArk Model

Position Summary
The BCBA provides high-quality ABA services to children with a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. The BCBA is responsible for assessment, treatment planning, program oversight, RBT supervision, parent training, and ongoing clinical decision-making.
This position is ideal for a BCBA who values ethical practice, collaborative leadership, interdisciplinary teamwork, strong family partnerships, and the opportunity to grow within a supportive clinical team.
BCBA Growth and Advancement
MonArk uses a structured BCBA level system to support transparency, professional growth, and pay advancement. BCBAs have the opportunity to advance through levels based on clinical performance, ethical practice, supervision quality, documentation quality, leadership readiness, collaboration, and contribution to client and team outcomes.
Monthly evaluations provide ongoing feedback so BCBAs understand their strengths, areas for growth, and opportunities for advancement. As clinicians progress through the level system, they may become eligible for increased compensation and expanded leadership opportunities.
Growth Opportunities
As MonArk continues to grow across Northwest Ohio, BCBAs have opportunities to advance into leadership roles, including:
- Lead Clinician
- Clinical Director
- Regional Clinical Director
These roles may include additional leadership responsibilities such as mentoring BCBAs and RBTs, supporting clinical quality, reviewing treatment plans, assisting with training, participating in clinical decision-making, and supporting ethical service delivery across locations.
Job Responsibilities
The BCBA will:
- Conduct behavioral and skills assessments as required by funding sources and based on client need
- Develop individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans
- Complete FBAs, FAs, reevaluations, and clinical reports as needed
- Review client progress and modify programming based on data
- Provide supervision, training, and feedback to RBTs
- Complete RBT competency assessments and reassessments
- Track supervision to support BACB compliance
- Provide regularly scheduled parent and caregiver training
- Collaborate with families to promote skill generalization and meaningful progress
- Collaborate with SLPs, OTs, COTAs, and other therapy team members to support interdisciplinary care
- Maintain ethical, evidence-based, and medically necessary ABA programming
- Participate in clinical meetings, case consultation, and professional development
- Seek support from the Clinical Leadership Ethics Committee when clinical or ethical concerns arise
- Maintain documentation in accordance with company, payer, BACB, HIPAA, and applicable Ohio requirements
Administrative Support
MonArk BCBAs are supported by Branch Managers at each clinic, allowing clinicians to focus more directly on clinical care, supervision, treatment planning, family collaboration, interdisciplinary coordination, and ethical service delivery.
Branch Manager support helps reduce unnecessary administrative burden related to daily clinic operations, scheduling coordination, communication support, and general site-level needs.
Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field
- Current BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB
- Current Ohio COBA license in good standing
- Experience conducting skills assessments, such as VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, PEAK, or similar tools
- Experience developing treatment plans and behavior intervention plans
- Experience providing RBT supervision and caregiver training
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to ethical, evidence-based ABA services
Preferred:
- Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Experience in clinic-based ABA services
- Experience completing FBAs or functional analyses
- Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
- Interest in leadership growth, mentorship, training, or rural access advocacy
