Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional service and support to our clients in various manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, Low Voltage knowledge, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment while ensuring optimal performance.

Duties

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment in manufacturing environments.
Troubleshoot issues related to hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities.
Conduct field service visits to assess customer needs and provide technical support.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics.
Read and interpret schematics to understand electrical systems and mechanical components.
Execute welding tasks including stick welding as required for repairs.
Ensure compliance with safety standards while operating scissor lifts and other equipment.
Collaborate with customers to provide technical sales support and recommendations.
Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during visits.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with industrial mechanic experience.
Proficient in electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage applications.
Familiarity with HVAC systems and HVAC/R technologies.
Experience with industrial maintenance practices and procedures.
Ability to analyze problems effectively and develop solutions quickly.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English.
Knowledge of military standards is a plus.
Experience operating scissor lifts safely in various environments.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
